My name is Erika Van Der Bent. I am a freelance UI/UX designer, product designer and art director digital media with two decades of professional experience. I specialize in interfaces for the web, apps, interactive experiences, and online (re)branding. Based in seaside town Scheveningen, The Netherlands. The surf capital of Northern Europe.
I studied Design & Technology in Rotterdam. I began my career as a junior designer at full-service internet agency Intermax in Rotterdam.
In 2010 I started an independent design studio Geeft Vorm. Geeft Vorm is Dutch for ‘Gives Shape’. This gave me the opportunity to collaborate with some of the leading digital agencies, startups, or directly with brands.
In 2019 I joined the founding team at Adelee, a small startup, as a senior designer working on the app and building the brand.
Now I'm working as a freelancer.
Other than my passion towards tech and design, I am a passionate surfer, outdoors enthusiast, and traveler. I like to discover the world, far away and close by.
